DEMOCRACY UNDER THREAT AS EFCC INVITES DEPUTY SENATE PRESIDENT IKE EKWEREMADU, + 32 APC SENATORS DECAMP TO PDP

It seems the Buhari led APC government has decided to either win the 2019 elections or destroy Nigeria’s nascent democracy. Or what would you say about the war being waged on the legislative arm of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.
Just this morning, Senator Saraki’s convoy was disrupted by the police as they blocked them, fortunately WakeUpAfrica got information that Senator Saraki managed to escape and still attended the senate meeting today, of which the whole idea was to prevent him from chairing the meeting where it was rumoured that many APC senators would defect to other parties.
Just as the story made rounds that 32 Senators defected from the APC to PDP today, while four others moved to other parties. News also came out that the EFCC invited Deputy Senate President Ike Ekweremadu for questioning today, on charges of conspiracy, abuse of office and money laundering. While the DSS stormd Ike Ekweremadu’s Apo Legislative Quarters residence to pick him up.
The letter which is signed by Muhammed Umar Abba, Director of Operations, stated that Mr Ekweremadu was to report at EFCC today by 10am, to defend the allegations against him in the investigations. See a copy of the letter below
