Buhari In Closed Door Meeting With Tinubu Ahead Of Tomorrow’s APC Primaries

Yesterday Monday October 1, after the APC primaries in Lagos had been postponed to today Tuesday 2nd October. Ahmed Tinubu, leader of the APC went to Abuja where he had a closed door meeting with President Muhammadu Buhari.


Lagos State governor, Akinwunmi Ambode was not present at the meeting which held inside Aso Villa. Ambode before now has been battling to retain his candidacy as the APC governorship candidate, meanwhile the entire leadership of the party, as well as party loyalists has openly endorsed Jide Sanwo-Olu.

Tinubu came back to Lagos same day after the meeting, to prepare for the primaries today. Meanwhile Gov Ambode has met with the working panel appointed by the National Working Committee of APC, who paid him a courtesy visit, insisting on a free, fair and credible primaries.
