Designers Set The Runway On Fire At Day 2 Of GTBank Fashion Weekend
The GT Bank Fashion Weekend #FSHNWKND Day 2, started off as well with entrepreneurship masterclasses by 2pm. The Sunday event witnessed a huge turnout of fashion enthusiasts who took advantage of the work-free day to come shopping, learning and also to enjoy the runway as well.
The red carpet had amazing street style outfits, some were too incredible to believe, but hey that’s what fashion week is about right?

Then came 7pm, the much awaited runway show began, at few minutes past 7. The security was tighter, as entry tags were given in order to reduce the crowd surge. The show opened with pomp as the very talented Lanre Da-Silva showed off her Victorian themed collection. As always she got a standing ovation as she danced to the runway with over 30 models dresses in her collection, she also danced to the crowds delight, amidst much clapping.
Jiwon Choi from South Korea showed her collections, then came Tarco Barca from South Africa showed his swimwear pieces and sexy outfits to a clapping ovation. Idma-Noe came next, showing off great wearable pieces, then came Gert-Johan Coetzee, whose designs also wowed the audience, before Laquan Smith from New York closed the show. Then it was time to dance as the DJ turned up the music, and the audience danced till the end of the fashion show. In all, attendees agreed that the GT Bank #FSHNWKND has raised the bar on fashion events in Nigeria.
