Fashola’s Name Is Missing On Buhari’s New Ministerial List
Well the much-expected ministerial list will soon be out, however news hovering around Aso Rock indicates that there may be some shock for some current ministers. President Muhammadu Buhari according to reports, has omitted the name of Former Governor of Lagos State and current Minister of Power, Works & Housing, Babatunde Fashola from the list.
Babatunde Raji Fashola who was appointed minister in 2015, to head three ministries, is said to be lobbying to return as minister to no avail. According to a tweet by former Director of Strategy/Communication under former President Goodluck Jonathan, Jackson Ude, the Comptroller-General of the Nigeria Customs Service (NSC), Col Hameed Ali made the list.
His words: “Babatunde Fashola’s name is missing in the list of new Buhari’s Ministers being compiled. He is lobbying to return. CG Customs, Col Hameed Ali makes the list and might become Defence Minister. Hadiza Bala Usman leaving NPA to become Minister,” Ude tweeted.
What do you think of this story? Do you think Fashola deserves a return as a minister?
