Femi Otedola Fulfills His Promise Of $25000 To The Nigerian Super Eagles

The Nigerian Super Eagles are now $25,000 richer, all thanks to Billionaire business mogul Femi Otedola, who has redeemed his $25,000 promise for each goal scored by the Super Eagles during the just concluded 2019 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON). The NFF released a statement on Tuesday, which confirmed they had received the money.
Otedola made the promise to encourage the Super Eagles to win the semi-final match against Algeria. And thanks to Odion Jude Ighalo, who s40th minute own goal. Though the Super Eagles later conceded defeat due to a late goal courtesy of Mahrez’s left-footed freekick, they are still $25,000 richer regardless.
